I’m a huge fan of musky, manly, woodsy scents. Snow Fairy by Lush practically repels me. The NYLON Magazine Newsletter just alerted me two two wonderful collections of grungy-scented beauty products.

I started the spring semester today, and I just didn’t have time to take pictures and set everything.
All the details will be up tomorrow!
The basic outline is you have to be following me, reblog the post that I put up tomorrow, and I’ll use random.org to pick the winner. That’s for “first” place. Second place will be twitter. You have to be following me on Twitter, and re-tweet the message that goes up tomorrow.
It will also be open internationally.
I just hit 50 followers (which is not that many in the grand scheme of things, but each of those followers is an actual PERSON which to me is amazing. Fifty whole human beings want to read what I blab about.)
All I have to give away right now are two iPhone 3G/3GS cases that I never used, but no longer have the opportunity to use since I have an iPhone 4.
One of the cases is Lilly Pulitzer and the other one is Lucky Brand. Would ya’ll be interested?
Edit:: Just to clarify, I would be giving them BOTH away to two lovely readers. The first place winner would pick whichever one she wants and then the second place winner would get the other one.
So, I heard some noise outside and then a big truck starting up and I got all excited like “OMG LUSH PACAKGED MUST HAVE BEEN DELIVERED!!!” And I ran downstairs and I could see something by the front door.
…and it was my grandmother’s LLBean order.
This is going to be an installment here, because I work at J.Crew and I’m constantly enamored with things at work.
Wednesday we’re getting in a bunch of new stock, but there were some things that really caught my eye today!
The first thing was a new Timex watch. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a picture of it online anywhere. I will snap one the next time I am at work. It’s in the style of this watch, but it’s much smaller. It’s about half the diameter, and the face is simpler. We also have adorable interchangeable watchbands.
The second thing was a new pair of SPERRYS!
They are the Cormorant Slip-Ons in exclusive colours. We have a bright lemon yellow and a lovely mossy olive green. I was able to snap a picture of the green ones.
Pretty cute, right? I’m planning on getting a pair of these very soon!
Okay. I realize this post makes it seem like I have the taste of a 50 year old woman. I’m sorry. I’ve wanted a Timex Field Watch like that for YEARS and the fact that they have a pint-sized version makes me squiggle about with glee.
And as for the shoes, I live up north. We have a LOT of weather, and I can’t wear Ugg boots all winter, and once Spring hits I get tired of wearing Wellies all the time. My calves are a teensy bit too fat for them, and they get really uncomfortable after a few hours.

When it comes to shimmer, I LOVE it when it’s summertime and I’m trying to get a sun-kissed glow look, but when it’s just for contouring it makes it look really weird.

I’ve either got the flu or a really bad cold, and I feel awful.
However, it only makes me feel worse when I’m schlepping around in big ugly t-shirts and sweatpants. So today I changed into different lounge clothes and I’m wearing adorable J.Crew pj pants, and an oversized men’s Diesel t-shirt.
I want to touch all of my goodies!!
Plus I woke up sick today, so I would love to take a lovely bath with them.
From what other people have told me about ordering from Lush UK is that it takes about ten days. I don’t know if that’s business days or not, but to give them the benefit of the doubt I’m not counting Sundays. I also have to consider that I ordered my stuff on Dec. 29th, and then there was new years eve, new years day, and Jan 3rd was a bank holiday in England. So while I placed the order 12 days ago, it’s really only been seven days. If that makes sense.
I JUST WANT MY STUFF SO BAD. I WILL DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT AND GET IT.
I think I might order the ‘kit’ that you get for free when you just pay for shipping to see if I like it.
